Scan Picker is an App that provides functionality to scan check orders as you pack them. This policy describes what information is collected to assist with functionality.

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account: Information that you grant us access to when installing the app, such as products, variants, collections, etc.; Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your shop, such as your name and email address; We collect Personal Information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. We record and store user sessions for the App. This includes information such as your store identifier and userID. This is used for authetnication when calling Shopify services on your behalf. We do not store indentifiable information on our server or database except for your session which links back to your store.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the Personal Information we collect from you in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we may use this Personal Information to communicate with you, optimize or improve the App, and provide you with information relating to our products or services.

We use third-party services to host our application and store certain data required to use the application. These services may have access to some of your personal information but we do not store personal information and we do not sell personal information. Services used below: Fly.io to host the application AWS RDS to store session and settings data

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you, or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

We store data regarding your session and settings while you have the app installed. This data is required for the functionality of the application.
